The Key to Getting Out of the Jar: Belief.

As I mentioned in the last post, to be able to change your financial situation, you must believe that you can. Belief is the first ingredient in the achievement of any goal. To illustrate this point I will use the 2008 Presidential Election. Barack Obama, who I believe is the ultimate internet marketer and motivational speaker, achieved one of the biggest political upsets in history in beating Hillary Clinton. In February 2007, when Barack Obama began his run for the White House, Hillary Clinton was 20 points ahead of him in the polls. Click here to see poll With that in mind, listen to the following clip from a speech Mr. Obama gave on February 25, 2007.

In this video, Mr. Obama acknowledges that he is aware that he is way behind. However, he conveys his belief that he can overcome this. He explains that the reason he believes he can win is that he has been in this situation before and prevailed. You can tell just by listening to this speech that he understood where he was in his campaign and he knew exactly how he was going to overcome the obstacles that stood between him and the White House. It was after this speech that I knew he was going to win. It was his conviction that conviced me of this. Just remember: Yes We Can.
